Being a Woman in Executive Leadership

Investing in a professional coach is a pivotal step towards your future self. For a woman in business, reaching the level of 'executive leadership' is one challenge, but maintaining that status is another. Many executives don’t openly discuss their 'tool kit' of resources that help them excel at high levels. For me, Lynda is an essential part of this toolkit—my 'secret weapon,' accountability partner, and mental fitness coach. Her expertise in female executive coaching has been invaluable, guiding me through both personal and professional peaks and valleys with clarity and care. Burnout is a very real concern, and engaging in transformational coaching with a professional coach helps me stay focused on my vision for life, making it the best investment I could make.

Generate Excitement

I had the privilege of working with the exceptional Dr. Lynda Reid, who has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by female executives. From the moment I started with her, I felt a genuine connection and support that made a significant impact on my personal and professional growth through her female executive coaching.

Her guidance and expertise were invaluable in helping me navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry. She provided tailored strategies and practical tools that empowered me to overcome obstacles and achieve my goals. Her ability to truly listen and empathize created a safe and nurturing space where I could openly discuss my concerns and aspirations.

What sets her apart is her unwavering dedication to fostering confidence and resilience in her clients. She encouraged me to embrace my unique strengths and step into my leadership role with conviction. With her guidance, I developed a greater sense of self-awareness and a clearer vision of my career path. Then she introduced me to the Positive Intelligence® program, which was part of her transformational coaching approach, and helped me realize that I hold the power of my own thoughts and emotions, which can either propel me forward or hold me back. With her assistance, I discovered that I have the ability to cultivate a resilient and positive mindset, regardless of the challenges I may face.

I am truly grateful for the transformative experiences I had while working with Dr. Lynda Reid. Her unwavering support, expertise, and genuine care have made a lasting impact on my career journey. I have been able to continue applying the principles and practices I have learned, knowing that they continue to enrich my life and empower me to overcome any obstacles that come my way. I highly recommend her services to any female leader seeking to unlock their full potential and excel in their leadership roles.

Why do I have Lynda as my Coach?

I am coached because life is messy and unpredictable. I am coached because being a mom is HARD! Am I doing right? Wrong? Too much? Not enough? Am I like the mom at the grocery store with her perfect kids who actually remembered her shopping list? Or am I like the mom at the grocery store who says that it's a miracle of God her kids aren't screaming and actually have their shoes on? Coaching has taught me that it doesn't matter who you are; you can be both moms.

Through my client reflections, I've realized how transformational coaching has helped me identify my uniqueness as a person, a human, a wife, a mother, a friend, and a leader in the workforce. It has helped me understand that you don't need to embody all of those roles at once; you can embrace them individually and together, as they make you who you are.

Coaching has helped me quiet my Judge and bring out my Sage. The Pleaser in me has learned to say no. The Stickler in me has learned to chill out. Sometimes, I need these reminders—coaching has helped me identify these triggers, name them, and divert them away from criticizing myself.

Coaching has helped me find balance and the ability to do more than I ever thought possible. About ten years ago, my biggest coaching goal with Lynda was to have Zen mornings alone, as my kids say, before the world wakes up. I'm tired! That's hard! Yes, it was. However, I can tell you that habit and understanding that it doesn't happen every morning is why I can write this now. I'm a mom of three and have had over an hour to myself with NO interruptions. It's time to clear my heart, make my space, and fill my cup for the day. This is the most significant gift from coaching, which I will forever hold with gratitude and dear to my heart.

Thank you, Lynda, for the opportunity to be vulnerable. For the opportunity to harness my strengths and empower my weaknesses.

I am often complimented on my multitasking ability (please know NO ONE can multitask). What I can do is SHIFT and Ride the Wave. This I credit to my coaching and time with Dr. Lynda Reid and the insights I've gained through female executive coaching.

If you are thinking about coaching with Lynda—don't think about it anymore. DO IT!

Moving Beyond Self-Doubt to Embracing My Sage

It was a perfectly imperfect timing when my path crossed with Lynda’s. I was getting frustrated with my inability to buckle down and start believing in myself—not just in myself but also in what I have to offer as a professional and a human being.

As a private physical therapist, I have been striving to incorporate a more holistic approach to my practice, making it accessible for my clients who want to continue improving after formal sessions. My goal was to empower them and guide them toward a better physical and emotional life. However, I realized that I needed to be empowered first.

I used to be the biggest procrastinator, a people pleaser, and a perfectionist. These traits held me captive until, with Lynda’s transformational coaching, I discovered my Sage. Lynda helped me turn a mountain of worries and self-doubt into manageable bumps that I could step over on my journey to my best self—my Sage. Through client reflections and her guidance, I learned to manage and organize my life, let go of unnecessary burdens, and prioritize effectively. This Sage mindset spilled over into all aspects of my life, allowing me to find happiness and tranquility even during hectic times. I am truly grateful for the connection I made with Lynda, and I tell anyone who will listen that they all need Lynda in their lives.
